the diffrence between 3phase and single phase voltage is
only depends on the angular displacement . if we made the
anguler displacement 0deegre , 120deegre, 240deegre using
capacitor . then we can adopt the 3phase supply voltage.

Take three connections from the single phase lie. Take one
as reference. Using capacitor-inductor combinations the
desired time lag (120,240 deg in time) can be obtained in
the remaining two.

By using a capacitor, an another phase with a 90 deg angle
difference can be introduced which can give a rotating
torque for a rotating three phase machines. So, in this
fashion a single phase supply can be used.

I have a relay contact rated at 220v dc which is supplied with a 24vdc from the panel,for it to trip the dampers(24vdc).What if the application of the relay changes so that it should work at its rated 220vdc then will it work at 24vdc supply given or any other consideration needs to be taken .....
