how to use single phase supply for a three phase equipement...

Answer / siddharth tayade

the diffrence between 3phase and single phase voltage is
only depends on the angular displacement . if we made the
anguler displacement 0deegre , 120deegre, 240deegre using
capacitor . then we can adopt the 3phase supply voltage.

how to use single phase supply for a three phase equipement...

Answer / tufail

Take three connections from the single phase lie. Take one
as reference. Using capacitor-inductor combinations the
desired time lag (120,240 deg in time) can be obtained in
the remaining two.

how to use single phase supply for a three phase equipement...

Answer / manish jain

By using a capacitor, an another phase with a 90 deg angle
difference can be introduced which can give a rotating
torque for a rotating three phase machines. So, in this
fashion a single phase supply can be used.
