we always do configuration in development server and
transport to QA server for testing and then again transport
it to production server

hi in general configuration settings were done in
development server and trasported to other
servers...testing or production..

In addition to what yogesh and gupta have said i wouldlike
to add a new point that

the configuration is always dione in developemnt server
here we ahve 2 servers in account one is sand box and one
is golden box .

in case of consultant they always work in sand box (
temporary server and once on error is found theymove itto
gloden box where where we transport it to test servert and
ultimately production server through se 10 click on the
lory icon
