in M20 Mix concrete how much cement, sand and 20mm metal?
Answer / amaraneni saiteja
M20 IS GENERALLY NOMINAL MIX.
Proportions of CEMENT:SAND:COARSE AGGREGATE IS - 1:1.5:3
it mean that if 1 unit of cement(Take 1 unit as 50 kg) is used and sand will be use 1.5*50kg and coarse aggregate will be used as 3*50g.
However we can design the M20 mix design based on aggregate and cement properties.there only a slight variation in above proportions.
