Goto transation code SM35 find the session in session
queue click the session now click on process it will ask
process in background click the option.

goto transation code SM36, give job name ,job class,click
on job wizard, click on continue,give program name which is
in SE38 and give date, time,and give weekly or monthly and
save the job.

goto transation code SM37 give job name,click on execute
now the program will execute in background.

In general we can do background job scheduling using SM36.

In BDC we can also do Background Processing using a SAP
Standard Program : RSBDCSUB.

Syntax:
SUBMIT RSBDCSUB WITH MAPPE = <SESSION NAME>.

This session method is used for Insert or Update the tables.
While Insertion or Update the table (Multiple records)
we are creating a session.That session is created with 3
function modules. i.e

1.BDC_OPEN_GROUP
2.BDC_INSERT
3.BDC_CLOSE

and one more thing is, we can keep the session after the
session completed.this is depends on the programmer wish,
if the programmer wants to live the session after the
operation just he can select it as "KEEP".If it is not like
that it closes after the operation.

But there is a difference b/w the Call transaction and the
Session in BDC is,

1.In call transaction at a time the total records are
Inserted or updated.

2.but where as in the Session method while executing the
session in the background, if there is any error occurs in
the program the session is not running.

But compare with Calltransaction Session is better.
