LSMW is itself a transaction code by which we can upload certain data, it can be master data or transactional data. It can involve all the transaction codes which can post these two kinds of data. For this it can also use standard or customized BAPI. In one of the steps you can use the transaction codes or BAPI and make a recording. By using that recording we can identify certain fields which we want to be updated and once all the testing is complete we can upload excel file or flat file to create the data at one step.
