well transmission & distrubutions transformer(Electrical)
dosent decide by frequency normally it will comes as 50 hz
or 60hz depends upon country these transformers vary there
size by rating not by frequency .But in power electronics
transformers (Normally in Power electronics circuits for
example Switching on SCR HIGH frequency signal is required
were 500hz or more are used which is normally smaller size
but designed for very high frequency)

At higher frequencies the no of turns required is less so the
size of transformer is reducued.

In transformers back emf should be almost equal to the
applied voltage . For the same voltage ,less flux is
required at higher frequency. The core will be smaller ,and
hence the size

inductive reactance is proportional to frequency and inductance. So for same inductance if frequency increases L can be decreased. where L is prop to volume. So higher the frequency lower the size required.

salam&hi, i need to know about how can i calculate an enough current for the new building before i submit it to the suppliers
Sir, My doubt on cable sizing calculation, Load:74 KW calculated cable 1 run 50mm2. Now client asking us to reduce cable size by increasing runs. Sir, My question now when my mind strikes with 2 options 1) Divide load 74/2 = 36 and calculate cable for 36+36 making it 2 runs or 2) Simply i can divide 50mm2 /2 ie. 2 runs of 25mm2 Please suggest me sir
