availability check is not carried out in case of MTO Because MTO itself mean that product will be manufactured upon recieving the order for it so no need of availability check

Availability check is possible in MTS only, why because schedule lines will comes in to MTS.
I think there is no schedule lines for MTO.

Availability check is possible in make to order.
For transactions such as make-to-order production, consignment or returnable packaging
processing that create special stock, the availability check is performed against special stock.

Make to stock it is not possible. For clear view check PP module.

In a Third party Sales order process company is not delivering the goods directly to the customer so why there is need to do Goods Receipt Process T-code :(MIGO) transaction in SAP as there is no physical delivery of goods is taking place in Company? Even if we are doing it symbolically in SAP system then the stocks are going to pile up, so why we need to do MIGO transaction. Tell me the logic behind it? Please reply asap... Hi,In IBM Interview,the Scenario For an XYZ customer,The required delivery time is given by the customer say 17/july, but for transportation for material will take some 4days to reach the customer. means in SAP the PGI should happen before 4 days so that meet reqiured Delivery dated, How and where is the triggering point in SAP SD.from where the system will know delivery should happen before 4days.
