Why we are using coarse sand for brick work and is there any
technical problem if, we use fine sand instead of coarse sand.

there is gap between two partical of couse sand. we
applied plaster on it. bonding between plaster and masonary
is good. so we used couse sand. compratively silt content
in couse sand is less.

water requirement of per unit surface area will be less in
coarse sand in compare to fine sand hence less will be
workability and more will be strength

Cement and coarse sand give hard strength compare to fine sand. It is difficult to obtain fine sand compared to coarse sand. Cost of fine sand is higher than coarse sand
