1) You carry out config. changes in "Tata Group" client , (say100) in DEV server.

2) When you save, system prompts a Transport request dialogue, which is generally, saved by input of a description that identifies the Kind of Config carried out. User name appears by default with the Config request description when saved.

3) This is required to be tested in (Unit) Test Client say 120, by Client Copy of the Request using Tcode - SCC1.

4) On successful test results, we need to release the request (Tcode = SE01 or SE10). Here Collapse the request line once. Then click on Sub-task and press Transport button.. Then, Click on Main task and again press Transport button System gives success message.

5) Subsequently the BASIS Guy can transport the request to QUALITY and PRODUCTION Clients.

Hi SAP SD Consultants here i want to share my opinion with you.
Directly we cannot move master data from development server to production server.First we customize data according to client requirements (in deve server i.e sand box, golden client , unit test after that satisfaction the configured data will transfer to through Transport Request which generates by functional consultant and release by himself.The moved data checks by BASIS Team,if they get RC=0 there are no errors & successfully completed;
2.if they get RC=4 there are errors in data but can move to quality server.
3.if they get RC=8 there are errors in data but can't move to quality server.
once the data doesn't contain errors, successfully move data.
Again in the quality server , client team test data for quality maintainable like regression test conducts .if client team get satisfaction,they issue UAT and sign off by
giving end-user traning.
At go-live stage master data transfer from quality server to
production server through LSMW , BDC .

this is the process to move data from quality server to
production server .

The t.code to import the request from client to client SCC1
The t.code to transport the request STMS
Basis consultant will transport all the requests to one server to another server.
Functional consultant role in transporting request:
consultant has to release all the request ,
the t.code to release the request SE09
and take all the request numbers in XL sheet and send this XL sheet to Basis consultant then Basis consultant will transfer the request from one serever to another server.
