If an Instrument has 550 ohm internal resistance and the
cable used for that instrument is 0.5 ohm per meter
resistance. If the voltage is 12volt.How much length cable
can be used? Please tell me its Calculation formula.

Mostly instruments are designed for 24v supply and 4to 20ma
output here we have 12v supply so resistance should be 125
ohms so we can make 550 ohms into 125 ohms by connecting
161ohms resistance in parallel for that we require 323mtr
cable.so we can use almost 300mtr cable. this is just my
practical assumption and i dont have any theoretical proof
for the same.
