1- speed of light = 1/ [squire root of{(permeability of free space)X(permitivity of the free space)}]
2-speed of drift of charge in a conductor = Drift Velocity = (mobility of charge X Electric field applied across the conductor)=few Centimeters per second.
3-speed of effect of electricity in a conductor = speed of current and voltage wave in the conductor = 1/ [squire root of{(permeability of the conductor)X(permitivity of the conductor)}]

Dear all i want to know FEWA Electrical Supervisor Licence test Previous Year Questions ? If any body know please send to me shibin_75@yahoo.com
In secondary transmission i.e., in distribution side, supply for homes are connected through different phases in order to balance the 3 phase load. But in practical we saw nearby house doesn't have power due to single phasing. But other two phases give supply. How it's possible? it doesn't make "single phasing"?
