Answer / deepanshu kumar
garbage collector automatically frees the variables and objects from the memory when they are not in use. user program can't directly free the object from memory instead it is the job of garbage collector to automatically free the objects which are no longer referenced by the program.every class inherits finalize() from java.lang.Object finalize() is called by garbage collector when it determines no more reference to object exist.

You use this function to identify generated objects that are
no longer required in different Financials applications and
to delete them from the database.
1. Start transaction UGWBGC.
The system analyzes the objects to be processed by the
garbage collector and displays them. This activity can take
a long time.
2. Select the objects that you want to delete.
3. To check the result of the planned deletion
first, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying
text Check.
4. If necessary, include other objects in the
deletion to make a complete deletion possible.
5. To permanently delete objects from the
database, choose This graphic is explained in the
accompanying text Delete Fields Permanently.
