Hi

The above expalination holds good when the material type
remains to be fert; ROH and has a physical invenetory
movement but if the material type is NLAG; Diens or
TRADING GOODS than you dont need shipping point as there is
no phsical movement of goods . But even is such scenario you
can only carry tracking if shipping point is given this
hold true even for BANS

It helps you to corss check the delivery date and the
delivery based information and palys a role in movement of
goods . Incase you dont have it even then the you can
carry out sales order and delivery wil take palce based on
the predefined routing given by default and system will
pick the delivery date but will have problem when you want
to track the goods once they leave your palce

As per my understanding, the shipping point also predicts
what kind of sales happens, for example, we have one
shipping point for standard sales, one for cash sales and
another for returns. If a shipping point is not determined,
then sales order processing cannot happen.

In consignmnet stock for consigment issue when I try to creat sales order after assigning all the values in ship to party ; sold to party and realted coulmns i get a error that pricing is not determined . I went back and checked vk11 and gavePR00 and in vok0 in defined the pricing condtion and see that all the vlaues are properly assigned yet i get this erro r that Pricing is not defined at sold to party . Can some one help me in letting me to know how to solve this ticket

Material Determination Issue while posting billing document. I am taking about the standard process of SAP. Just try entry with Outcome as A while defining substitute reason and then process the order. It will show both the old and new material with item category as TAX and TAPS respectively. TAX for non- stock item- means as of now the material is not available. TAPS- the new material which has replaced the old material. Now, if you will see the configuration of item category TAX and TAPS in IDES, it would be more clearer as I mentioned in the first update. The only issue is - I am facing a problem in billing. Now if you re-consider my post, I guess it would be more clearer. However, the issue is that in billing its not showing the right price. Please suggest. Configuration - Item category- TAX- Old material. Billing relevance- A Stats- X Pricing- NO Item Category- TAPS- New materail Billing Relevance- A Stats- NO Pricing- Yes Because I want both the material in billing, so billing relevance is A. And I want the price of new material so for TAPS pricing - Yes. But every time I am trying system is taking the price of TAX. Not sure why? If I make it as vice- verse, thinking lets take the price of new material, now the system is taking the price of old .
