Answer / dhiraj sengar
let 8mm dia is used
4x220+2(10x8)-5(2x8)= 960mm
where, 300-2x40= 220
2 times 10x dia for hook
5 times 2x dia for bends
hence cutting length of bar for ring is 960mm

Beam size 300 x 300,cover-40mm
less cover=300-40-40=220,
parameter of ring=2*(220+220)=880mm,
add for hock=10d=10*8=80mm,Where d=8mm
number of Hock=2
Total Hock length=2*10d=80*2=160mm,
Deduction for bend junction, for every junction less 2d,wherw d is the dia of Bar,
number of bend=5,
Total deduction =5*2d=5*2*8=80mm,
Total cutting cutting length of Ring=(Parameter of Ring)+ (Total hock length)-(Total bend deduction)
Total cutting length=880+160-80=960mm

Answer / surya kant upreti
given size of column 300X300 suppose ring bar is 10mm dia,
1st step
deduction for cover both side (40X2)=80mm
then ring size (300-80)=220mm
since column is square so its have 4 sides then
(220X4)=880mm
2nd step
for hook length take 10xdia of bar, then
(10dx2)=(10x10x2)=200
3rd step
deduction for bar devlopment in TMT at 90 degree bends:
5 bend, each bend devloped in lenght (2x dia of bar) then,
(5x2x10)=100mm
final calculation
step1+step2-step3=(880+200-100)=980mm
so length of bar for ring will 980 mm

BBS is bar bending schedule.the ring size of 300*300 column
will be 300-2*40=220mm.for bending 75mm should be taken for
each of two ends.the total no of bends will be 5.if 8mm dia
bar is used then cutting length will be 4*220+2*75-
5*2*8=950mm

220*2 220*2 2*10*8-2*5*8= 960
MNS= (Anchoered Length) 2*10* Dia Of Bar - 2* No Of Bend(5)* Dia Of Bar
80
So Total Length =960mm

300*300 10dia
Cover deduction from sides 40*2=80
1. Ring size = 300-80 = 220
Sides 4*220=880
2.For hook take 10*d=10*10*2 = 200
Now deduction for bend. so below 16 dia its 1.5d or above 2d so
5*1.5*10 = 75
Now = 880+200+75 =1155
Now every one forget one thing when we bend the ring around the bar suppose that bar is 32 dia so dia/2 is also include at every bend of the ring.

Answer / er. amit sagar
Only for ring calculation-
Column size 300×300, 8mm dia of bar
Cover 40mm, 2×40 =80 mm
Total length= 4×(300-80)= 880 mm
2 nos. Hook= 2×(10d)=2×10×8=160mm
5 nos. Bend= 5×(2d) , for 90 degree
= 5×2×8
= 80 mm (deduction)
Total cutting length= total length+hook length-deduction
=880+160-80
=960 mm ( for 1 nos. ring length)
