Name plate details are not there so by seeing the size only
we can determine .. for the same capacity always Dc motor is
heavy in size and the length also will be more (commutator
added in dc )...

DC motors have bolts fitted on the outer surface...whereas in case of AC motors the outer surface doesnt contains these bolts.AC motors are conpact in structure and smaller in size as compared to that of dc motors.
