how to distinguish between ac motor and dc motor without
seeing name plate of it.only seeing its getup look

DC motors have bolts fitted on the outer surface...whereas in case of AC motors the outer surface doesnt contains these bolts.AC motors are conpact in structure and smaller in size as compared to that of dc motors.
