TORR- Ordinary bars. twisting operation while making hence
there is residual stress in it.
TMT- Thermo-Mechanically Treated Bars. no twisting operation
hence no residual stress in it which causes the high
strength bars. the strength comes on it from its rim.

Different between tor steel and TMT bar:
Tor steel is casted and tempered. TMT bar is tempered
mechanicaly while cating. that is thrmo mechanicaly treated.
