i agree to alisha .when ask 'what is your career goals'you should not give an impression that may annoy or something that a certain interviewer views you negatively like climbing up for your own purpose and agenda. you should answer not only for your benefits but most likely for the improvement of your abilities and skills for the sake of a certain job or thing to work out....because seeing other phase may give them an impression that you are loyal and dedicated to that certain thing you may acquire...so better answer such thing that may reflect your being devoted for the benefits of all...
