If the voltage between the two phase is equal to the lamp
voltage then the lamp will glow. When the voltage
difference is big it will damage the lamp and when the
difference is smaller the lamp will glow depending on the
type of lamp.

yes we can light up bulb with the use of earth because neutral
is taken from earth so this is possible if u have doubt please note the voltage between phase and neutral

yes we can do it using two phase lines of 440v.Usually bulb is designed for 230v so by connecting two bulbs in series to get 440v amplitude and then connect this across phase lines the bulb will glow

voltage low .ex : one bulb 440 v ry =440 one phase given by

connect two different but same duration angle of phases, and touch both of neutral points of bulbs by hands.
It works!!!!!

We can not glow the lamp with earth i experimentaly prove it take a lamp and go towards socket than take one terminal into phase and one into neutral lamp will glow but when one terminal in phase and other is on neutral the lamp will not glow it only happen when 2pahse is available

m nt sure.... buti thinhk all we need is a potential
difference...

in regular supply... LINE VOLTAGE is of 220v
and there is a neutral... thus a potential difference of 220

if we connect our bulb between a 440v and 220v line, then
also potential difference of 220v is developed
