plum concrete is usually done where the surface is uneven and to minimise the costing of concrete.for eg. below footings of residencial bldgs where in a small portion where the slope of ground below single footing is 1:10 to 1:50 in that case to save the cost of concrete plum is usually preffered.This finally leads to minimise the construction cost of building in all.

Plum Concrete also known as Cyclopean Concrete, this is a variety of concrete consisting of large sized stones(Plums) with interstices filled with concrete. Used mostly in mass concrete works like concrete gravity dams.

Actually its Depands upaon the nature of structure.
Like Slab will have different then beam.
Eg Retaining wall, SLab, Beam, Column, Footing, Raft etc.
All will have different proportions.
