I do not completely agree with what Subha justified. ALE
comphrehensively refers to Application Linking & Enabling.
This term is used in SAP for importing/exporting
data/information/messages from one server to another. Same
is applicable via opposite.

ALE are basically the application link engine . It is the
key through whcih idocs are transfred from one server to
that of the other server i.e. no sap to sap

I have two different terms of payment one is grace period of 10 days and other one is 15 days. Now I have two set of materials, one is set A and other one is Set B. If a customer initiate a sales order for Set B materials then the customer should get terms of payment of 15 days or else I should get 10 days terms of payment in sales order. Status Profile I have a doubt in Status Profile. I have set the status profile and I can see the same in order, however please confirm if the authorized person now needs to approve it, how he will do that. I am testing it in IDES, not sure about the last step For example if it is VA01- Will he go to VA01 to approve it or reject it. Please suggest as I am not sure about the last step.
