There is no link or integration between STO and Third Party
process.

STO can be done during inter company stock transfer,
whereas, the Third Party process can be used, when the
company wants to ship the ordered materials to customer
from vendor directly.

purchase order is required in both cases and we can have
drop shipmentotherthen there is no link

After creating sales order user changing the quantity in purchase order ? what happens ? and where is the control?
