The Functionl module configuration comes under customizing
request because these configuration to be done through the
customizing.

Workbench request is created by technical consultant (ABAP
consultant) in ABAP workbench.

1.Functional module configuration (functional guys do in IMG)
then it comes under Customizing request..

2.Function module(which is used in Abap program) by
technical guys then it comes in to Workbench request.

functinal module changes comes under custominzing request, where as work-bench request is cross client mean changes made in one client will pass through the remaining all clients with in the server

Fisrt of all If by frunctional odule task the question
means Customizing tasks for a particular module then...yes
It will be a Customizing CTS however
If the Functional Module means the actual changes to
Functional programs maintained under Functinal Group then
it will have to be a workbench CTS purely because these are
ABAP programming functions which are non client dependent
unlike customizing tasks which need to be done in one
client and then the CTS needs to be released for testing
the same using client data.

I think it's a little confusing in my above statement.

To put it simply....
-Functional module changes are transported across system
under a WBR CTS

The reason is ...these FM's are non client dependent (ABAP
program's)

If you want to check the Functional Group for the FM then
you can check the same in Tcode: SM37
for checking the FM you can double click on the FM from
SE10/SE09 (after opening the CTS) and you shall be able to
see the complete program.

Hi, When i am doing posting stock in the plant the following error is occured. "posting only poossible in periods 2013/09 and 0000/00 in company code xxxx". I know the t.code. It is MMpv. But i want to know how can i close the posting periods in mmpv. How can i do that. Pls tell me anybody. I am so confused about this. Thanks in advance.
