Hi,
To unlock a user to one can make changes to Active
Directory services where users a created and if the account
is locked then Administrator can unlock the Account through
ADS.

One can Unlock User in OS level with the help of Active
Directory or User Manager for DomainControllers where a
user is created and Maintained.

From BASIS access level from sap GUI. it is not possiable.
you can login by the '<sid>adm' at os level. Then
user 'lusrmgr' command. You will get user list at OS level
& permission to unlock the concern user.

hi , i just want to know the user is windows user or sap user;
if the user is windows user u need to follow above procedure
by typing lusrmgr.msc in run of windows 2003 server.if u
want to unlock the sap user from os level.connect to sapsr3
schema of oracle database through sqlplus or somle other
oracle tool.and change the usr02 table uflag field value set
to 0000.
and restart the sap server.
