Due to the economic the slowdown many people where taken
out ofjobs. the salaries of the people where reduced. by
this the purchasing power of people reduced and the
spendings came down.

The sale of all commodities dont come down. The sale of daily essentials will either remain same or may come down slightly.
This mostly applies to luxury products.

When we are using the DEPB licence for duty adjustment 100 %, there is no cash payment to customs. If i am a trader and registered with excise, Can we avail the modvat credit and pass on to customers?. And i am a actual user of DEPB licence, ca we avail the modvat credit?
