I have raw material for making Compact-Choke for flourscent
lamp of 40 Watts. We are suppose to get 0.4 amps output at
end. but we are getting 0.42 or 0.44 amps and above. We
have done many testings in different but nothing worked out.
Please suggest me how to get the correct output.
We are using 1. core winding of 700 windings of aluminium
2. E-shape iron fillings and I-shape iron fillings to
surround the winding.

CURRENT WHATEVER MAY BE IT IS MAINLY DEPENDS ON THE QUALITY
OH WIRE USED TO WINDING AND THE LARGE LOSSES DUE TO
MATTERIAL USED FO E SHAPE IS MORE LOSSABLE.U TRY WITH 32SWG
WIRE HAVING 750 TURNS U GETT IT EXACT .5AMPS

just hit smoothly on choke, then test it, most probably u
will get o.4amps, if u dont get required value then
increase the no.of wounds up to 718, and make voltage 230
(Fix the voltage on 230V.)then try it again I hope u will
get. All the best.
