In F110 - Automatic Payment Program, while setting
parameters we need to put " Posting date for next payment
run". Please explain what is the significance of putting
that. Why is that required to be put?

This date is needed in order to check the due date of
payables. If item is already overdue on the date of the next
payment run or would lose cash discount, the system pays the
item in this payment run.

The significance of " Next pmt run" in F110 is to consider
the cash discount according to your Payment term.
system will deduct the cash discount automatically if your
next payment run date falls under payment term parameter.

The significance is that the postingsof vendor which are
not considered during the current payment run will be
considered in the next payment run( If you have selected
them while setting the parameters for the payment run )

I had posted a down payment to a vendor. In addition to that i had posted the invoice to the same vendor.When i run the F110 to make the payment, I want the functionality to adjust the down payment with the invoice & to pay the balance amount. I don't want to do the down payment clearing manually in F- 54. the down payment should be done in the F110 itslef. Is it possible?. If yes what is the configuration related to this.
