It will depends on the type of magger. You can choose desire volt by using selector switch within the range of magger. For low voltage switchboard busbars, 500 V is enough.

It depends on the technicians choice of voltage. You shoulb
able to get a guess of how much voltage the cable should
be able to0 endure without losing its insulation and then
subject that c abkle to that voltage on the megger. For
low voltage installations about 500V should be okay since
the maximum voltage of a three phase system will be 415V
if bridged.
