The permissible wastage for cement is 1%.For bricks
2.5%,For tiles, actually depends on the pattern laid but
taken 3-4% in general and for steel it is 3%.

The Permissible wastage for cement is 3%, for bricks it is
2.5 % and for tiles it depends on the floor shape and size
which can be permitted upto 6%, while wastage is steel is
allowed only 2.5%
