given Volatage = 415 volts, capacity on given voltage= 3kw
solution:-
while 415volts ac supplied than capacity of heater is 3kw
therfore 1volt supplied than capacity of heater will 3kw/415
so on380 volat supplied than capacity will be
3ooo*380/415=2.746kw
the anser will be 2.746 kw heater capacity on 380volts

Answer / v
Heater will take more current than it was taking before and
it's losses will increase.However it will give same output
as was giving but with increased lossess and get overheated
soon.

Answer / p brown
Lower the voltage will also lower the heater output and amp
draw.
415/380V 3ph.
92% of heater wattagage
96% heater amp draw

1. Given v= 415v
kw= 3w
formula = w=v*v/R
3000=415*415/R
R=172225/3000
R=57ohm
I=v/R
I=415/57=7.28amp
2. given v=380volt , kw=3
R=380*380/3
R=48.133
I=V/R
=380/48.133
=7.8 amp
