core balance circuit breaker in normal case no current flow through three phases hence output zero. at abnormal condition condition trip circuit breakers .

CBCT is core balance CT. In normal conditions and phase
faults conditions (3ph or ph-ph) the output of the CT is 0.
In case of earth fault only there will be current which
will operate a relay and trip CB as for other protections.
