ABT ( Avaibiliti base tariff ) is a teriff between Power
plant and Power distributor. In this type of tariff they
should declare the demand or generating capacity for next
coming hour. Because of this things it is eassy to manage
the situation by Load dispatch center. Also reduce gambling
possibility.

availability based tariff as clear from the name it is
basically a system which provides communication between
load dispatch LD and generation centre that may be any
power plant in this gen. comp. has to give information
about its precommitment for generation and it will be paid
accordingly and if followed penalty too wiill be given that
means this system will enforce better frequency of supply
and load schedule can be changed before a grace period of
approx. 2hrs.
