Answer / narendra
With new concrete design methods the strength can go beyond
60. i.e. in petronous tower concrete used was 80 grade. its
composition is done with other additives like iron slag
powder etc., totally designed with coputers.

In the modern age of civil engg new technic are developed.
For more strength of concrete the grade is used M80 which
is richest one or in the modern technic design mix is used
i.e by weight which gain more strength.

when the grade of concrete is more mix proportion becomes less nd the strength can be increased.m80 is the highest strength concrete but in india only up to m40 grade concrete is used.
but in foreign country m120 grade concretes are also used for heavy structure

Answer / alekh
as far as high strength concrete is concerned
strength more than m50 is known as high strength concrete
... but for this we go for design mix ...for that we use
some special admixtures, super plasticizers for better
workability
( for strength more than m20 nominal mix not recommended .
Although for m 25 its composition is 1:1:2)
