Why size of HT cable is less then LT cable inspite of the
fact that voltage is higher in HT cable?

size that is the cross sectional area of cable that is in
Sq mm. mainly depends on current carrying capacity of cable
and second on voltage if voltage increases than the
current decreases. so in HT that high tension above 1.1 Kv
current carring capacity decrease for transferring the same
amont of power. so is the size reduced . yes it has extra
insulation for this high voltage.

Hirer the voltage the lower the current. And the lower the
voltage the lower the current. Say for instance if you were
feeding the high side of a transformer with 230kv and the
sec. side was 100kv usually the size of conductors would be
(high side 1 mill. and on the low side would be 2 mill.
wire size usually dual conductors to carry the load on the
low side.

my question is that....few days ago i had installed a three phase motor starter for an electric saw.the motor will run and make the hydraulic pressure which will be goes to pressure cylender by up and down lever.two number of limitswitches are also installed on cylinder for safety of motor.now when the arm of cylinder reaches to the upper or lower limit it will cut the motor's line.and motor will be stop.now wana know that what will i do that motor runs continue after the limitswitch cut it down but it shold not be made any pressure.pls answer me in brief.
