The column having axial load acted in such a way that,
1.It is eccentric about one axisof the plane column then it
is called uniaxial column.
2.If the load is eccentric about both the axes in the plane

this can be easily understood by coordinate system.suppose
x-y coordinate system, around the center of the column.now
simply if the force is acting in the x-axis only, with zero
y coordinate,it is uniaxiel column.
again if both the x-cordinate and y coordinate exits the
system is bi axiel.
eccentricity is also another way to define column as pooja
did..:-)

Uniaxial & Biaxial is generally Bending concept in column.
1) Unixially =Mux Or Muy acting on column.
2) Bbiaxially = Mux & Muy both acting on column.
all column have axial loading ie Pu.
generally column have 3types of loading concept.
1) Pu
2)Pu, Mux
3)Pu, Mux, Mmuy
