How will you convert a 6 Normal solution to 8 Normal
solution?

If it is 1N of solid check the weight. Assume x grams in 1000 ml. For converting to 3N add remaining weight of solid material. Dissolve thoroughly.
Ex: 1N sodium hydroxide is 40 grams in 1000 ml. If asked three normal, add another 80 grams so that total would be 40 * 3 to get 3N . Similarly from 6 to 8

we can't convert lower normal solution to higher normal
solution.
generally we are using dilution law for preparation of
required normality. N1V1=N2V2

Answer / ulab
dilutionlaw N1V1=N2V2, generally dilution means high
concentration to lower concentration by adding solvent.
So question is irrelivent to tell answer and volume of
required solution not mentioned.
So it is better to ask a question like this

Take one third of the 6N solution and evaporate the solvent
completely. Add the residue to the remaining solution (i.e.
