Tell the details of the precommissioning tests that are
performed on distribution transformer, power cable and
switchgear (11kv).
Answer / subaharan
first check the transformer bushings and their condition, then
you meggering the transformer each phase to phase and phase to
earth.
power cable you check the high voltage test which is used for
measuring the leakage current, meggering and continuity
checking.
switchgear the same meggering,isolator checking,relay
testing(set various values of currents, voltages and set time
for tripping) make the fault and note the trip time.
