why moment is create in fixed beam. And why moment is not
create in simply support beam

Answer / ka
in a fixed beam the fixed ends are restrained from rotation
as a result of which a reacting moment is created but in
simply supported beams the supports are free to rotatein
the plane of action of load so there does not exist any
reacting moment

fixed end are restrained for all degree of freedom
therefore create moment, but simply supported end(pin
joint)is free for rotation. therfore no moment.

Positive moment (with tension in the bottom) is created in
both simply supported and fixed beams which are loaded by
gravity. However, this moment is less in fixed beams, since
a fixed support is made to resist some of the moment in the
beam. As the other answers partially said, negative
moment(with tension in the top) is only created in fixed
beams because of the moment resistance in the connections.
True simply supported beams do not have negative moment
because by definition, their connections do not resist moment.

in case of fixed baem, both ends of beam are fixed & in order to make unit slopes in the end ,moment is acted..but in case of simply supported beams as ends are free ,therefore no moment is acted.
