EARTH AND NEUTRAL ARE JOINTED OR NOT?
Answers were Sorted based on User's Feedback
no
if we take three pin socket(power socket) it has three pins
at bottom it has two pins of similar size's one is for
phase and another one for neutral which is mean for return
path of the circuit and
another pin in top is earth which is comparitively larger
in size because it's mean to take unwanted fault current to
ground
so that neutral is a return path to the circuit and earth
is meant for earthing the fault current
r u got it?

no! hum nahi mila sakte neutral or ground ko kunke neutral
ek path complete karne keliy hota hai aur ground hum safety
keliy istamaal karte hai jis mein buhut hi kam resistance
hoti hai ok

HI DUDES.ACTUALLY NEUTRAL IS THE INTERSECTION POINT OF ALL
PHASES,AND EARTHING IS DONE BY USING BIG EARTH SPIKES WITH
FULL OF EARTH MAT,SO FINALLY EARTHING IS THE PATH FOR
DISCHARGING FAULT CURRENT,NEUTRAL IS FOR FLOW OF REVERSE
CURRENT,SO THAT WE GET CIRCULATING CURRENT IN THE CIRCUIT

neutral is used for circuit complition means for return
path of current.
& earthing is used to flow fault current to ground safely.
neutral & earthing are two different things.

Answer / jagannath sahu
no we can not connect the neutral with earth as in the
transformer neutral is already grouned.as we know neutral
carrying same current, that phase line in case of single
phase.so neutral is grounded only in case of 3phase
circuit,not in single phase.

Answer / suresh reddy
he dude actually that is wrong
see the purpose of neutral is to complete the the circuit
as well as retrun path for excess current &
same grounding is to deliver likage (fauilt) current to
save equipment and person
we can not short the ground and neutral together keep in
mind
