The protections between HT Lines & Transformers are
Islotaors, Under Voltage & Over Voltage Relay, Over Current
& Earth Fault Relay, Distance protection Relay etc.

In between the HT line and transformer there is circuit
breaker which trips on faults. This breaker is controlled
by control realy pannel which does this fuction by taking
inputs from CT and PT signal which are in between this
breaker and transformer.
