Transformer consists of Mineral Oil for Insulation & Cooling
purposes.
When Current flows through wingdings, Primary or Secondary
winding(s) heat up (That depends upon T/F is step up or
satep down). Oil absorb the heat & cool the winding(s.
This oil heat up, 7 this noise is due to this oil.

Why we use a H.T. Fuse from a thick wire, on other side we use high rating of cables? & Why we use less Sq. mm Cable on H.T. side , on other side we use Large Sq. mm cable?
