What is diffrence between Transducer and Transmitter?
Answers were Sorted based on User's Feedback
TRANSDUCER is device its converts one form of energy into
another form of energy.(electrical to mechanical /
mechanical to electrical.. ) mechanical to electrical is
inverse transducers.
TRANSMITTER is a electronic device.its sense the physical
variable and send the small electrical signal to the
panel/controller. i.e 4-20mA. Transmitters also a TRANSDUCER.

Transducers:It is a device which converts one form of energy
to another form of energy
Depending on energy types we have classified transducers as
electrical ,optical,etc...
Transmitter:
it is a device which transfers the one place to another

Transducer: Converts one form of standard signal to another
form of standard signal (Ex. I/P - 4~20 ma Dc to 3 to 15
Psi)
Transmitter : Responses to the process quantity for a
calibrated range, converts to standard signal and transmits
to a distance location.(Ex. Process Range - 0~ 10 bar to
signal output 4~20 ma Dc)
