control valve is called as final control element,it is to
get reliabale process by controlling the temp, pressure and
level etc basically control valves are three types
1) sliding stem valves: in this category most commonly used
valves are globe valve, angel valve etc
2) roatary valves : in this mostly used valves are ball and
butterfly valves
3)eccentric valves : in this again we can find two types
i) eccentric disc control valves
ii) eccentric plug control valve
and u can get more information (video class) in youtube,
please type lesson 39 control valve in search hope u will
be satisfied

control valve is a final controlling element, to implement
the manipulated variable to regulate the controlled variable
in the process.
there are two types in control valves they are
1)Inherent characteristics
a)quick opening
b)linear
c)equal percentage
in this the the pressure difference is determined by the
valve alone
2)Effective characteristics.
in this type the control valve posses the characteristics
when installed in the field.
