Mr. Gajanan, then motor why not burnt when rotor is
inserted, whats the cause between rotor inserted and rotor
out????

Answer / vijay c

TO Aju, if wdg has sufficient reactance then motor should
never burnt or it should never takes more than rated
current.
Think deeply

Answer / jagadesh

To gajanan & everybody in this discussion,

It will not burn but simply heated and makes humming sound as usual ,

if you short circuit the coil, then high current will pass through it,it will leads to burning(Similar to s.c of an Indutor)...

Answer / shahul snfa

if we give the supply to the stator. the motor will consume
reactive power from the supply to produce working flux. and
the absence of rotor makes those flux into leakage flux and
sent to ground
