1)The conservator is a small tank which is connected to
main tank /transformer through a pipe containing buchholz
relay.the outside vent of conservator is connected through
silica gel.
During high load heat generated in winding and absorbed by
tranformer oil.the oil expands and passes throuh buchholz
relay to conservating tank to store it.the air expilit out
throuh outsite vent.
2)During low load this oil contrast and go down to main
tank . during this process silica gel absorb moister from
the air so this moister donot mix with oil and keepit dry.

certain level to avoid any damage.
