The internal table gives a memory allocation dump when the
memory limit assigned to the program increases.
There are a few ways to sort this out
a) You can get the Basis increase the memory size
b) You can change your program to accomodate for the large
volume of data. There are a few methods that you can use in
order to handle this e.g by using package size or by using
extracts

it can go to dump saying out of memory. A possible way of
dealing this is to increase the memory limit in Application
server. This is usually done by BASIS.

That type of issue never occurred .If there is exceeding
limit, it will be automatically increased memory. For
example we have declared a internal table.
IT type table of Table with initial size n.
If there is exceed record more than n, automatically
increased memory allocation for next multiple of n.

when internal table exeed the limit it cant show the dump ..
other records are stored in the private memory of the work area.

using 'occurs 10' for u r internal table
then internal table occupy maximum length(2gb).
if the problem will happend same,u can contact u r basis
consultant.

hi,

in this case it won't go into shortdump. It will increase
the memory of the table automatically. It will select the
next level next size catagory in technical setting of that
table.
