Generating voltage depend mainly on field
excitation.Generating voltage are 3.3kv, 6.6kv, 11kv like
that because of from factor.We are using sinusoidal voltage
in our system and its from factor is 1.11.

generating voltage= (P*B*N*Z)/ (60*A)
where,
P= no. of poles of the m/c
B= flux or excitation given
N= speed of rotation
Z= no. of conductors
A= no. of parallel paths for flow of current
(for lap wound m/c s: no. of paths= no. of poles)
(for wave wound m/c s: no. of paths= 2)
