find the reason why a background job aborted it my be
progamatical error or it may be archive struck or it may be
maximum extents reached, or due to ram or due to cpu find
the exact reason solve the problem and again reassign the job

Hi,

To Rectify whether the BackGround Job is Aborted or not one
should make use of TCode "SMX".SMX Tcode will give you the
position of Background job and can view the logs of running
job and whether the job is running or aborted.
