Before Output) module using the ABAP keywords SET PF-STATUS

SET PF-STATUS :
This statement is used to set your own GUI status to the
report or the program that you develop and PF status is
developed in the transaction code SE41

why we call smartform as a client independent? (as we are able to retrive data from any client dependent d/b table in smartforms. )

If u r working with call transaction method .any problem occurs error records r stored in BDCMSGCOLL structure.How do u find that an error has occured at a particular point,how can u handle to rectify and process it successfully?
