It is a code the acronym of which stands for "American
Standard Code for Information Interchange".

All the keys which you see on your keyboard and the other
formatting functions such as bold, italic, tab key, enter
key, tab shift key, print control keys etc are repesented as
a number behind the scenes.

for example: "A" is represented as 65 and "B" as 66.
Separate number definitions are available for A and a (
capital letter or small letter). This method of representing
all keyboard related and other activities for characters
forms a standardized form of communicating across the world.

Have you ever tried opening a word document using a plain
editor from DOS? You would see lot of junk figures. They are
actually not junk characters; only that the DOS program does
not sense them.

ASCII is the standard format for information exchange.

ASCII means American Standard Code for Information
Interchange

Computer can understands only Zeros and Ones
Example: if u press "enter key" it assumes 13
if u enter "A" it assume 65
if u enter "a" it assumes 95

system converts the 13,65 and 95 as a binary code i.e Zeros
and Ones like 100010001

Re: i am getting error that"there is no item category assigned to account no(any account no)company while save the entries in gernal ledger, i able to simulate the entries but not to saved, i am using 6.0ecc version. so some one gave answer that"you activated document splitting for that u have to assign the item category for that g/l other wise u can deactivate in document splitting as per co code level".so please any one tell me the path or method to how to deactivate document splitting as per co code level so some one gave these path "hey u can get the path in general ledger accounting >>document splitting>>>here u can get the path for deactivate document splitting per co code level" but i unable to get the path, please any one tell me total path of document splitting deactivating per company code level.
